Education Minister Leighton Andrews has said that School-based Counselling services in Wales are helping thousands of children and young people become more confident in school and improve their attendance.
The latest figures collated show that during the Summer and Autumn term 2009 and Spring term 2010, just over 4,100 children and young people completed a course of counselling thanks to the scheme.
