Benefit Uptake Scheme for Disabled Children, 15/05/09 [W]

The Welsh Assembly Government has announced a new pilot project to help families with disabled children claim the benefits they are entitled to.

The £500,000 pilot scheme will look over the next two years at the best ways to increase the household incomes of families with disabled children.

Citizens Advice Cymru will work closely with disability organisations to ensure that appropriate, expert advice is made available to families with disabled children.

Further information is available on the Welsh Assembly Government website.
