The National Assembly for Wales’s Health, Wellbeing and Local Government Committee has published the report of its inquiry into Neonatal care in Wales.
The report found that Neonatal units in Wales are understaffed, ill-equipped and over-capacity. The report calls for the Welsh Government to address high occupancy rates – which are double the recommended level at 140% in some units – and severe understaffing.
The report is available to download from the National Assembly for Wales’ website.
