The Welsh Government has published a guide explaining how school banding will work.

The NGO Group for the Convention on the Rights of the Child has launched two new guides to facilitate child participation in reporting to the Committee on the Rights of the Child.
Is it Legal? A families' guide to guide to the law - 4th edition, 24/08/11 [W/E]
The Family and Parenting institute has produced a new edition of their families' guide to the law, dealing with myths around laws affecting children and families.
Ending corporal punishment of children - A handbook for working with and within religious communities, 08/07/11 [W/E/NI/S]
This booklet on ending physical punishment gives guidance for those working with and within religous communities. The work is part of a global initiative, led by major organisations and supported by the UN. It also contains examples of good practice in this area.
How is Your Child Doing at School? A Parents' Guide 2011, 13/06/11 [W]
The Parents Guide' 2011 outlines how the National Curriculum in Wales, and assessment and reporting arrangements are linked together. It will give you a clearer idea of what your child is being taught, how his or her progress will be measured, and help to prepare you for discussions with teachers about how your child is getting on.

The Welsh Assembly has produced a booklet to provide parents with information and advice that will help inform decisions when choosing childcare.

Shelter Cymru has produced a booklet for care leavers, designed to inform them about their rights when leaving care and finding housing for the first time.

A sticker book has been designed to be used with children under the age of 11 so that they can give their opinions and evaluate whether the service they are accessing is following the National Children and Young People's Participation Standards for Wales.
