Consultation ends: 07/05/10

The Welsh Assembly Government is consulting on the Proposed Rights of Children and Young Persons (Wales) Measure.

The Measure, if passed, will require the Assembly Government to have due regard to the UNCRC in areas of its work. These areas will need to be agreed by the National Assembly for Wales.

The Welsh Assembly Government would be the first government in the United Kingdom to be under this type of duty.
