Children in Wales has developed a series of training resources, to train professionals on the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). The work was commissioned by the Welsh government and funded through the European Social Fund Reach the Heights Programme.
The training and resources have been developed help ensure that key professionals across Wales, who work with children and young people, are aware of and understand the principles of the UNCRC. The training helps professionals support children and young people to access their rights in all situations. It also enables them to apply their knowledge and understanding of children’s rights through their practice and to identify sources of support in realising children’s rights.

The pre and post qualification training sessions have been adapted so that the practice examples and case studies provided in them are relevant to specific sectors
