HAP Wales: Home Safety Development Officer

Tonypandy, RCT
18.5 hours p/wk; £24,646 - £26,276 p.a. pro rata. Fixed Term until March 2013

The aim of this post is to reduce the number of fatal, serious and disabling home accidents affecting those most at risk - children and older people. Working for Home Accident Prevention (HAP) Wales the development officer will work with a variety of organisations, including Registered Social Landlords. The role will influence both local and national housing policies, inform changes and priorities and raise awareness of effective accident interventions within the home environment. The post is based in Tonypandy, but has a National remit.  Secondment opportunities are available.
