This post offers an exciting opportunity to become part of a developing management structure at Ely Families Service, which currently comprises an overall Children’s Services Manager 3 and two other CSM 1 posts.
You will contribute to the creation and delivery of a service plan in partnership with Cardiff Children’s Services offering supervised contact sessions for looked after children and their parents in a safe and homely environment.
It is essential you have a social work or equivalent qualification as well as recent experience of working with families where significant concerns exist about their capacity to care for their own children. You must also have experience of supervising staff, students or volunteers.
A clean current driving licence is also required as well as the use of a car to meet the requirements of the post including on occasions transporting children.
