One Community Project – Flintshire Services
Flintshire Services provides a range of family support services for children, young people and families residing in Flintshire. In particular we enable children, young people and families to challenge discrimination, to access mainstream services and to participate fully in the community.
With this post you’ll undertake direct individual and group work with children, young people and their families in accordance with the aims and outcomes of Flintshire Services’ One Community Project. You’ll also participate in the strategic planning and development of the Project and promote the work of the service to local community and faith groups and to other professionals.
It is essential you have relevant experience of working with children/young people and families from Black and ethnic minority communities. As well as experience of multi-agency working within a voluntary or statutory setting and experience of individual or group work with children, young people or families that promoted their rights and participation.
Knowledge of an Eastern European language(s) would be desirable.
