A one-day course facilitated by Children in Wales
An introductory course using a range of participatory methods aimed at practitioners and managers in the social care, health, education and public protection services. This course is for those who are new to this area of work or for people who wish to update their knowledge of the ‘Rights’ based agenda which is developing in Wales.
Children in Wales is a joint sponsor in the Reach the Heights project, supporting young people to gain skills for learning and employment through work experience and community based opportunities.
This training has been developed and funded through the ESF Convergence Fund, and places are free but restricted to practitioners who work solely or predominantly in ESF Convergence areas (Anglesey, Conwy, Denbighshire, Gwynedd, Ceredigion, Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire, Swansea, Neath Port Talbot, Bridgend, Rhondda Cynon Taff, Merthyr Tydfil, Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Torfaen).
